Overview
The goal of the response papers is to guide you in your meaningful engagement with course texts and activities. A variety of exercises and prompts will be provided for you to choose from, so that you may focus on your areas of interest and hone specific skills related to English Studies.
Objectives
- Produce different types of written discourse, appropriate to a variety of purposes and audiences.
- Understand the interrelationships between the various content areas of the English major at WSU.
- Recognize various interpretive strategies and understand that interpretive systems can conflict.
